We’ve transformed our Coastin’ album that we released last year into a dub universe with the help of the legendary dub producer Scientist, along with Stoney Eye Studios and Stu Brooks. The EP consists of 7 original dubs of our original songs including “Coastin”, “Zen Island”, “Right Here Right Now” feat. Eric Rachmany & Stick Figure and “Guava Lane” featuring Eli Mac. The entire EP is available now on vinyl + digital platforms everywhere.
“As lovers of reggae music, we have always had an affinity for dub and the art of creating dub mixes/songs. We have always incorporated dub in our live sets and our records from the very beginning. The artistry behind accenting certain instruments/elements of the song by using effects or in a lot of cases taking things out, creates a completely different listening experience that is often very transportive. Being able to work with artists like Scientist, Stoney Eye Studios and Stu Brooks really made this project special.”
